| Specialty. We specialize in Paternayan's Persian wool and your selection consists of an array of solid and variegated fibers. Variegated fibers are threads made of multiple colors, which stitch with beautiful results. Our inventory includes about 450 solid and variegated colors from Paternayan Persian Wool. Below you will see an image of a few colors and an example of what the fiber looks like stitched. The three stranded fiber works well with needlepoint on 10-18-count canvass, as well as embroidery and crewel. As you will notice, we have also included examples of variegated (multi-colored) fibers below. For beginners, variegated fibers help create a professional looking project with ease. Made of 100% wool, one skein contains 8 yards.

In addition to a wide selection of small skeins, we carry a variety of basic 1/4 hanks of Paternayan Persian Wool (approximately 170 yards), which make needlepoint backgrounds more economical and efficient.
